Kankan Suya Mix is a popular spice blend used in African cuisine, particularly in West Africa. Suya is a traditional West African kebab that consists of skewered and grilled meat, typically beef, chicken, or goat, which is marinated in a flavourful mixture of spices before grilling. The Suya Mix is an essential component of this marinade.

While the exact ingredients can vary,  our Kankan Suya Mix includes a combination of spices and seasonings such as black bush pepper, country onion, African nutmeg, alligator Pepper, Aidan fruit, and aromatic herbs. The blend provides a rich,  and slightly nutty flavour profile that enhances the taste of the grilled meat.

One way to use the Suya Mix is to coat the meat with the Suya Mix and then grill it until it’s cooked through and slightly charred. Serve the Suya with a spicy peanut sauce and garnished with chopped onions and tomatoes.
